On the surface, Reiki Is an ancient hands on system of natural healing for the body and mind. It is a system used for stress reduction and relaxation. At the core, Reiki is creating space for people to remember what it feels like to be in the stillness of themselves.
There in the stillness is where the healing is activated and both the practitioner and the client experience the presence of the universal life force energy flowing ever so abundant.
There is power in the hands. There is power in touch. There is power in connecting with another being with loving and compassionate intention.
Im grateful every time I’m allowed to connect with people on this level. Not only do I get to hold space for another, I get to be witness to the healing powers of the universal forces that are always at play.
Unity Spiritual Center of New Orleans will be hosting Free reiki sessions this Wednesday and every Wednesday at 3722 St. Charles Avenue from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
