What is Wellness Honie?
Wellness Honie is a Holistic Healing practice and our philosophy is consideration of the whole being as an intricate system made up of several different functioning systems that work together to bring harmony to Self. If an aliment presents itself whether mentally, emotionally, spiritually and / or physically, we subscribe to look at each system in relation to the whole instead of only looking at the symptoms that were manifested as guide for treatment. By not focusing on symptoms alone, but yet focusing on how to bring overall balance to complete being ( mind, body, soul, and spirit ); contradictions will organically resolve. We feel that the being has the ability to heal all ailments on its own; given the time, space and attention. We only seek innerstanding, patience and awareness while giving the being the time to work its healing magic.
Story Behind the Name Wellness Honie:
Wellness is the state of maintaining balance in mind, body and soul, especially as an actively pursued goal. Wellness is a state of consciousness that is aware of Self. Honey is a sweet, sticky yellowish-brown fluid made by bees and other insects from nectar collected from flowers. It is created from the essence of the flower and the alchemy of the bees. The bees transmute the essence of the flower, nectar, into honey. The essence is the spirit of the plant.
The bees channel this spirit into honey which becomes nourishment for the mind, body and soul of their species. They do this for the survival of their kind. Not realizing that they play a bigger part in the survival of all the species on plant Earth. on their pursuit of survival they pollute ur eco system and continue on crops, plants and trees that feeds all wildlife and human life.
We feel Wellness Honie is not just a name, but it is the consciousness and the spirit of the creator that can be channel by us, the being (bee) and willed the power of taking what has already been manifested to create substance for not only our survival, but the survival of all living things; plants, animals, humans, etc.. We do this knowingly and unknowingly, but we are guided by faith. With this spirit, the being realizes the oneness and connection between all matter that has been manifested. By embodying this consciousness and actively pursuing it, we are able to realize and reach our highest potential in this life.
We use the old form of Honie, because in numerology it is 33, The Master Teacher, Teacher of Teachers, Master Healer, The Principle of Guidance, Focused on Own Abilities, Spiritual Uplifting of Mankind, Changer, Paradigm Transformer. We believe that everyone has a level of master teacher. They just have to realize what they are here to teach and how to teach it.
Our Focus & Intention
At Wellness Honie, our focus is on health, fitness, wellness and its relationship to balancing mind, body, and spirit. Our major intention is to empower our clients to master self and become their own healers. We show our clients how to conquer their lives, step into their power, and become the best versions of themselves; this is what we call living wellthy.
How We define Health, Fitness and Wellness:
Health: A person’s condition and resource for living life; absence of disease and ability to recover and bounce back from illness and other complications.
Fitness: The abilities to meet the demands and changes of everyday life with relative ease, with some extra energy available for emergencies or unexpected situations.
Wellness: An active process of becoming aware of and making choices towards a healthy and fulfilling life; Realizing one’s full potential and actively pursuing it.
The Techniques we use:
We use holistic techniques such as energy balancing, meditation, yogic strengths and poses, art, therapeutic talk and conscious breathing to active a sense of calm, well being, surety, knowing, awareness, confidence, higher purpose, strength, and clarity. We remind our clients that they already know what needs to heal. We are here to guide them on their journey. We do that by helping them recognize patterns and inconsistencies in Self. To do so, we believe in the development of 8 habits which are Mindfulness, Fasting, Hydration, Nourishment, Connection, Exercise, Accountability, and Sleep. These 8 habits will allow for you to tap into your personal power, live your best life, master your self, reach your fullest potential and become the best version of Self by aligning your mind, body, and spirit.

What are these 8 habits; What are the possible benefits?
Mindfulness: is a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations. It helps to relieve stress, treat heart disease, lower blood pressure, reduce chronic pain, improve sleep, and alleviate gastrointestinal difficulties.
Fasting: is the willing abstinence or reduction from some or all food, drink, or both, for a period of time. It regulates blood sugar, reduces inflammation, improves blood pressure, may boost brain function, aids healthy weight loss, boost metabolism, increases muscle strength, and could extend longevity of life.
Hydration: is the act or process of treating with water. Water maintains the functions of every system in the body, including the heart, brain, and muscles. Fluids carry nutrients to the cells, flush bacteria from the bladder, and prevents constipation.
Nourishment: the food or other substances necessary for growth, health, and good condition. It provides the nutrients your body needs to keep your bones, organs and muscles in optimum shape. These nutrients include fats, carbohydrates, protein, vitamins and minerals. Healthy eating may also help you maintain a healthy weight, boost your heart health, prevent diabetes and improve your brain function.
Exercise: is physical activity that is planned, structured, and repetitive for the purpose of conditioning any part of the body used to improve health and maintain fitness. It lowers the risk of cancer and stroke, betters cardiovascular health, strengthens muscles, and slows bone density loss associated with aging.
Connection: a relationship in which a person, thing, or idea is linked or associated with something else. It promotes increases in happiness, positive health, reduced blood pressure, and longer life.
Accountability: is the fact or condition of being accountable; responsibility. Accountability accelerates your performance, helps you measure your success and progress, keeps you engaged, keeps you responsible, validates your thoughts and ideas.
Sleep: is a condition of the body and mind that typically recurs for several hours usually at night or for a consistent amount of time without being disturbed, in which the nervous system is relatively inactive, the eyes closed, the postural muscles relaxed, and consciousness practically suspended. It helps to feel more alert, more energetic, happier, lowers risk for serious health problems such as diabetes and heart disease, reduces stress, improves mood, increases ability to think clearer, aids in eating fewer calories, and maximizes athletic performance and overall fitness
