Detox Water: Cucumber - Mint

Detox water is one of the most popular, inexpensive, and easy ways to cleanse the body. It is created by infusing water with the flavors of fresh fruits, vegetables, and/ or herbs. Simply add the desired nourishment to water and allow time to infuse and drink. It is used to help rid toxins from the body, improve energy levels, and balance the pH of the body. A great and simple detox option is Cucumber - Mint water which is a very hydrating drink.

Can include weight loss, lower blood pressure, helps bone strength, Improves skin, better digestive, boost immune function, reduce brain fog, and uplifts mood.

Can balance root, heart and crown charka. Can cool an over active and/ or negative Mars Energy - infuriated, restlessness, nervousness, anxiousness, crabby, cranky, irritated, heated, hostile, and short tempered. Cucumber is cooling and Mint is warming. Perfect combination to relax and soothe an over heated temperament.


Cucumber - Mint Water Recipe

Tools:

  • Container

  • Long Handle Spoon

  • Knife

  • Cutting Board


Ingredients:

  • Cucumber

  • Sprigs of Mint Leaves

  • Spring Water


Directions:

  1. Slice up cucumbers in 1/2" circles

  2. Add cucumbers

  3. Add Mint Sprigs

  4. Add water to container

  5. Stir mixture

  6. Let sit for about 10 - 20mins to allow the water to favor

  7. Enjoy!


Comments:

  1. I prefer to use room temperature water instead of cold water. I feel that it is better for the digestive system. However, feel free to do what you feel.

  2. When choosing water any water could work for the most part. I would avoid tap water, especially, if there is a history of your city's water source being contaminated. Spring or alkaline water are ideal healthy sources, but don’t stress about it. Please use what is healthy and available to you.

  3. If making enough for later use, please place in a concealed container in the refrigerator. Store no longer then 2 days/ 48 hours. When ready to consume let sit out for 10 -20 minutes to come to room temperature or drink as is.
