Sun ☀️ in Virgo ♍️

Week #2 August 31st - September 6th

Week #3 September 7th - September 14th

Week #4 September 14th - September 22nd

Week #1: August 22nd - August 30th

Justice Tarot Card

Theme:

Fair Discrimination (How do you discriminate?)

Question to ponder:

Am I being "just" in my discriminations?

Consideration for this week:

Are you being fair-mind in your dealings or being bias?

Tarot Guidance:

Justice

Quote:

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

Insight:

Reexamine your process of discrimination. Don’t immediately assume that just because a situation is seemingly similar to what you have experienced in the past, means it should be handled in a similar way. Take caution and seek a different approach. Look at the heart of the situation. Don’t focus on outward appearances. Give the situation a fair assessment before passing judgement.

This week the theme is Fair Discrimination and we are guided by the justice tarot card.

Fair means the lack of bias in opinions or judgments.

Discrimination is the ability to perceive and respond to differences among stimuli.

Fair Discrimination is lacking bias in perceptions.

Justice is the sword that cuts through a situation, and will not be swayed by outer appearances when deciding what is fair and just.

Someone who has fair discrimination is able to distinguish between their perception of a situation and what is actually happening in the situation.

He/she is able to adjust his/her behaviors and thoughts accordingly and pass fair judgments about what is being experienced.

Someone who doesn’t have fair discrimination will not be able to distinguish between what they are perceiving about a situation and what is really being experienced.

It can be hard for the person to pass fair minded assessments as he/she will be blocked by his/her own biases. His/her thoughts, actions and behaviors will not match what’s actually going on in the situation.

This week pay attention to how you have been discriminating.

Consider if you have been fair-minded in your dealings or have you been being biased?

Knight of Wands (Reversed)

Theme:

Spiritual Service ( How do you service people? )

Question to Ponder: Are you passionate about providing the service that you provide for people or are you doing it for recognition, financial gain, and/or out of obligation?

Tarot Guidance:

Knight of Wands (reversed)

Knight was someone born of the nobility, trained to fight, and who served his sovereign or lord as a mounted soldier in armor.

Knight represents strength, honor, integrity, and courage. Wand is a staff or rod held as a symbol of office. It represents: primal energy, spirituality, inspiration, determination, strength, intuition, creativity, ambition, expansion, and original thought.

Wands tarot cards often represent the astrological signs of Fire – Leo, Sagittarius and Aries.

“The questing knight, this man traditionally signifies travel, and progress. This also refers to new ideas and inventions. He looks forward, intelligent and knowledgeable, and yet ready for battle and full of fire. The reversed meaning of the card is insecurity and fear of revealing one's true self.” ( wiki )

Insight:

Reexamine the spirit behind your service. Be independently motivated. Try not focusing on outside affirmation to motivate you to do the things you have to do for the people and things that you care about. Do it because it’s your passion. Do it because what you do matters. Do it because it’s the calling of your soul.

Reading:

“The measure of a man is not how many servants he has, but how many men he serves. “ D.L. Moody

Spiritual is the the inner character of a person

Service is the action of helping or doing work for someone.

Spiritual Service is the act of helping another with no other objective than to build inner character.

When you are in spiritual service:

You act from a higher sense of purpose. You are in service to a higher authority. You hold a true sense of integrity when you speak and act.

The things you do and say may not always come from your conscious mind. You receive information and understanding beyond your own perceptions.

You have an extremely creative approach to handling situations. Not creative so much in the artistic sense (even though you could be an artist), but creative in the way you deliver solutions and take actions.

You act out from a place of knowing what’s right and do it whether or not you have immediate benefit or at all.

You are motivated by your own sense of morality. You do things because you feel called to do it. You have strong inner convictions.

You have this extreme sense of authority and are able to take charge in situations.

Unafraid to take chances because you know no matter the outcome from the experience you will learn something invaluable about yourself.

You do things for others out of love for all mankind. You don’t have hidden agendas.

When you act from spiritual service, you can’t be manipulated into doing things you don’t want to do because it’s not about you or them. It’s about doing what is necessary for the betterment of the whole.

When you are not in spiritual service:

You may find it hard to be yourself and do things that you love to do. You do things not because it’s a passion, but for some external reasoning. I.e You need to make money, want to impress, seek love and/or validation.

You need something tangible or some kind of return on investment to be motivated in helping people. You have to let them know that you are doing something for them, so they can appreciate your efforts.

You always remember you did something for people and expect them to return the favor at some point. You do things for some kind of emotional gain. Where you do it to feel good about yourself and/ or to manipulate others to do for you.

When you do not act from spiritual service, You find it hard to be yourself around people and you believe that others will try to manipulate you into doing things you don’t want to do.

Spiritual service is not ego driven, but rather it’s divinely led. When you act from a place of self love, you have more than enough inner and outer resources to give to others.

Consideration for this week:

Become aware of how you service people. In situations that come up, take time to acknowledge your behaviors when you are serving others and notice if they are aligned with your divine character.

Insight: “Good order is the foundation of all things.” Edmund Burke.

Reexamine the based foundation of your organization. Check it’s fundamental purpose for operation and create structures in preparation for abundance. The Virgo ♍️

Sun ☀️ in Virgo ♍️

Week #1: August 22nd - August 30th

Week #2 August 31st - September 6th

Week #3 September 7th - September 14th

Week #4 September 14th - September 22nd

6 of Pentacles

Week #4 September 14th - 22nd

Theme: methodological giving ( What’s your method? )

methodological relating to, or following the system of methods, principles, and rules that regulate a given discipline.

Giving is the transfer of something without the expectation of receiving something in return

Methodological Giving is having a method for how and why you give to others.

Question to ponder: What’s your method of determining who or what is worth your attention, efforts, and/or resources?

Consideration for this week: Are you giving others what they really need?

Tarot Guidance: 6 pentacles

Numerology of 6: domestic, harmony, healing, health, care, stability, discerning

Definition of Pentacles: talisman or magical object, typically disk-shaped and inscribed with a pentagram or other figure, and used as a symbol of the element of earth associated with the astrological signs Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn.

Etymology of Pentacles: late 16th century: from medieval Latin pentaculum, apparently based on Greek penta- ‘five’. 5 or a series of 5 (555), is often associated with change, love, and abundance.

The Pentacles in tarot: relates to the physical body, possessions, or wealth. It deals with worldly matters in general.

6 pentacles: A merchant weighs money in a pair of scales and distributes it to the needy and distressed, signifying the redistribution of wealth and gratification. This card also questions the motives of charity, and the inherent power dynamics, for example the societal expectations on recipients to be "grateful" and behave accordingly. It also raises the question of who benefits from charity, is it the recipient or the giver? The scales are symbolic of a balance or imbalance, in the distribution of wealth, resources and power, which can also be interpreted as pointing to the balances or imbalances in personal relationships. (Wiki)

Insight: “Doing what needs to be done may not make you happy, but it will make you great.” ― George Bernard Shaw

Reexamine your method of generosity. It’s easy to get wrapped up in a sad story. Sometimes, when we do, we don’t always check the facts of what is being showcased. We can fall in the trap of giving what is requested vs. taking time to give what is actually needed. This week be methodological when giving your attention, time, efforts, nd/ or resources to different causes. Because not everyone that seeks your assistance may actually need it especially, in the way they are asking to receive it. You determine the best way that you can assist them. Sometimes giving nothing is what's actually needed.

When you are methodological in your giving:

You have a process that guides you in giving your time, resources, attention, and efforts.

You value your energy and know the appropriate times to give it to others.

You don’t give to ‘feel good’ or because you are a ‘good person’ who does ‘good deeds’.

You don’t just give to anyone who has a sad story or determine what’s appropriate based on your/their emotions.

You don’t give out of obligation or because they did/do it for you.

You don’t give because you want to or because it feels right.

You have a purpose for why you give and recognize the consequences for giving or not giving.

You give when it’s aligned with your integrity and the integrity of the situation.

You don’t give people what they want, you give them what they need.

When you are not methodological with your giving:

You always give more than what you have.

You stretch yourself thin, always trying to be there for others.

You give inappropriately by giving people what they want instead of what they need.

You give out of obligation because you feel like you owe something.

You never feel like what you do is enough and want to be the hero in someone’s story.

You lack boundaries and allow people to take advantage of your attention, resources, and time.

You expect people to give you something in return that makes you ‘feel good’ whether it be gratitude, attention, IOU, emotional support, or commitment to you in some kind of way.

You want to be seen in a positive light. You want to be view as a good person who does good things.

Giving Methodologically can create boundaries that honors your growth and others growth with respect and integrity.
